How to Freeze Herbs
If you plant herbs like I do and you want to preserve it during harvest time, this is a perfect way to do it, by freezing!

Before you freeze them make sure to follow these tips:

1) Use sharp scissors to cut your herbs.
2) Clean your herbs by misting gently with a water spray. Damp them dry with a paper towel.

Watch the video below as you only need ice cube trays, water, zip lock bag and a marker. Easy right?

You may use the following herbs to freeze:
1) Basil
2) Bay leaf
3) Chives
4) Dill
5) Mint
6) Oregano
7) Parsley
8) Rosemary
9) Sage
10) Tarragon
11) Thyme

I never though of that. Maybe if I have herbal plants I would definitely keep this in mind to preserve them. Thanks for sharing this!

This is a neat way to freeze them, I usually just throw it in a ziploc bag and put it in the freezer.

i used to do this a lot when my kids were just infant. i puree their food from fresh veggies and fruits.

That is so awesome! Will definitely try it this way. I used to freeze my onion leaks for weeks, but it just doesn't have the same taste as fresh ones. Still good than nothing though. Thanks for sharing! Herbs here are so darn expensive.

I do like this idea. Much better than drying leaves. This way it's like you're preserving the freshness of the herbs.
