Philippines 2013 Election Senatorial Debate

Posted on Wednesday, April 3, 2013

39 days to go and it's election time again! For those overseas absentee voters, you may vote starting April 13 or 10 days from now. If you are still undecided on who to vote for your senators, ABS-CBN News Channel or ANC has come with a program that features 3 senatorial candidates each week.

The premise of the show is that the host will ask three questions to each candidate and will be given 1 minute to answer. After that round, each candidate is given the opportunity to ask his or her fellow candidates for 30 seconds, which they have to reply in 1 minute. For the third round, a guest panelist will ask the candidates and they have to reply in 1 minute. For the fourth round, one lucky audience will ask the candidates and have to reply in one minute as well. The last round is the final speech of each candidates, still in one minute.

Here are the episodes to help to decide!

Bal Falcone, Dick Gordon & Antonio Trillanes

Ed Hagedorn, Risa Hontiveros & Ricardo Penson

Marwil Llasos, Cynthia Villar & Migz Zubiri

Bam Aquino, Mitos Magsaysay & Eddie Villanueva

Teddy Casino, Ernie Maceda & Ramon Magsaysay

Greco Belgica, Chiz Escudero & Gringo Honasan

i hate politics hence i never practiced my right to vote in like... ever. I just don't believe in the system anymore. everything is rigged. votes can be bought so what's the point? well, that's just me. I'm sure some still believes in it.

Not so into politics but I can only hope that those who are seeking a seat in the government will really work for the best interest of the people and they need to walk the talk not just all lip service.

Hi Tess, which Magsaysay? I prefer Mitos, without this debate I won't vote for her.
