Ceramic Lime Santoku |
The Ceramic Lime Santoku comprises a santoku style blade famous for its "three virtues": slicing, dicing and mincing. The ceramic blade stays sharp for years without sharpening. In addition to its innovative design, a daring lime green rubber handle provides an exciting feel to the ceramic foundation. The Lime Santoku has been expertly engineered for slicing and chopping vegetables such as crisp courgettes, delicious cherry tomatoes, and is also highly suited for preparing sushi. The knives by the way were placed in 2 separate boxes and were shipped in a secured bubble wrapped package.

QUALITY & FUNCTIONALITY - Rating: 5 out of 5
The quality is undeniable of good quality. The ceramic blade is of balanced thickness, very lightweight and very sharp. The ceramic blade is actually made of zirconium oxide and it is second to diamond in hardness.
Even the handle is made of rubber it is well made and what I like is the soft touch to it, unlike the usual knives that makes your palm scream with pain.
The knives that I have received are actually recommended for slicing, dicing, mincing and chopping but have restrictions on cutting bones, frozen food and hard produce, which is understandable.
The Ceramic Lime Series by the way comes with a Slicer knife, Utility knife and a pairing knife.
PRICE - Rating: 3 out of 5
The price of a knife from Edge of Belgravia ranges from $54 to $108. For me, it is quite expensive for a knife but with a great quality Edge of Belgravia has, it is worth it.
SHIPPING - Rating: 4.5 out of 5
Shipping from the UK to Singapore actually took 11 days. The product is in good shape and was well-protected from the box and the bubble wrap pack.
MAINTENANCE - Rating: 5 out of 5
What I like about the Edge of Belgravia is that you don't need to sharpen their knives for years. It's easy to clean by using dish washing liquid with your hand or a soft sponge.
So what's my verdict? The Edge of Belgravia knives are of superb quality and I extremely love the product. The fact that it is lightweight, very sharp and the handle is soft to touch made me gaga over this product. The only thing that I don't like about this product is the price.

That is one handsome knife. I'm curious though why you replaced you Ikea knives. I'm planning to buy their knives and would appreciate feedback from it. I refuse to buy the knives sold locally with Kris Aquino's and Sharon Cuneta's face on the box hahaha.
