If you think that your mobile phone is bacteria free because it is squeaky clean, think again! Undergraduate students of the University of Surrey have imprinted their phones into petri dishes filled with bacteriological growth method.

After three days, shocking images of the bacteria were revealed. Don't worry though as these bacteria are not harmful and can be found on our skin.

Check out the following bacteria images turned into art work.

Don't forget to regularly clean your mobile phones with alcohol especially on the hard to reach places.

not bad looking bacteria, if it's not harmful I guess, it's alright, but we still need to clean our cell phones especially the front side :)

That was amazing art! However, it's really disturb me to see the real bacteria that can be found on our cellphone. That is why, i'm thankful that their were invisible lol or else i'm not going to touch my phone ever again.

Once I attended a Joy Antibac event and my smart phone was swabbed for bacteria sample. Lo and behold, the level of bacteria found on the surface of my phone was greater than what was found on toilet seats!

Oh yes! Our phones are dirty because we take it everywhere with us, our hands get to touch a lot of things and if we don't sanitize it, then it'll get dirty and nasty. Clean and sanitize is a must. Beautiful photos though!
