Amateur videos of the meteor fall hit the web and it was absolutely spectacular. It was like watching special effects came to life.
It maybe a spectacular event, but it has caused nearly 1,000 injuries after the meteor landed Russia's Ural Mountains with the power of an atomic bomb. City officials also confirmed that 3,000 buildings were damaged because of the shock wave.
