May last year, rumors of Jollibee coming back to Singapore fueled again. There were even news that it would open by October 2012. There was even a Facebook page for Jollibee Singapore, which I deliberately unliked after thinking its just a hoax. When news in the Philippines and Forbes Magazine confirmed that Jollibee Singapore is indeed true, Filipinos here are ecstatic.

Jollibee Singapore's flagship store will be in Orchard at the famous Lucky Plaza. There were even photos circulating in Facebook Job Opening ads and the current renovation in the 6th floor of Lucky Plaza with the Jollibee signage outside.
Yesterday by the way, there's an event organized by Jollibee Singapore. According to what I have gathered, Jollibee had a soft opening for its first 100 customers, that I have missed.
To the Filipinos here in Singapore, Jollibee's grand opening is on MARCH 12, so don't forget to drop by the store and invite your friends especially the locals. They should of course try the famous Chicken Joy!
One question though in my mind. Since Singapore has a big Muslim population, will the stores be Halal certified?
