Singapore maybe a small country but new properties are really in-demand especially for those first-time buyers. CapitaLand which recently launched Sky Habitat in Bishan is now the most expensive condominium in Singapore with $1,700 to $1,800 per sq ft (psf).

The condominium has 38-storey towers with a total of 509 units. Sky Habitat is designed by well-renowned Israeli architect Moshe Safdie.

I saw this mini movie in Facebook about the current condition of Filipina maids in Singapore. With only one day leave a month, is it just or really unfair towards them. I have been asked many times on how to earn money from blogging. It would take me a lot of time to explain to my friends but would be easier if they can just read through the following steps.

1) If you don't have a blog yet, start creating one in Blogger.com or any platform that you are comfortable with. With this article, I would be dealing in using Blogger. Think of a great blog name and niche of your blog.

2) Write articles on your blog on a regular basis: daily, weekly or monthly. Keep doing this for three months.

3) On your third month of blogging, you can now apply in Google Adsense. Adsense is very strict on new applications and they require at least three months old blog. This applies also to some ads sites.

4) When you're Google Adsense account has been approved, it's time for you to put some Google ads in your blog. Go to your Blogger account then go to Layout. You can see sections of your blog there, click the Add a Gadget link and select Adsense. You are required input your publisher code for the first time. After which you choose the settings of the ad then you're all set to earn money.

Waterway Passion Active Run 2012 is kicking off its first year this June 10th at the Open field next Punggol MRT Station. Waterway Passion Active Run 2012 will have the 5 kilometers Fun Run and the 10 KM competitive run. Passion Card members can avail a discounted rate of $25 for the 10KM and $20 for the 5KM run.

The highlight of the run is actually the route. This is the first running event where runners can run at the Singapore's longest man-made waterway which is called Waterway@Punggol.

10KM finishers will receive a medal and for those who did very well, you will have the following prizes:

November last year, SMRT had rolled out virtual shopping ads on selected MRT stations. It all started with their tie-up with Cold Storage where commuters can buy Christmas ham and other items just in time for Christmas. So how does it work? Commuters will see these big ads on MRT stations with the price and the QR Code. To purchase an item, commuters have to scan the QR code to proceed with their shopping. Items will be delivered or can be collected on stores. I'm just not sure on their statistics if it was successful or not.

Anyway, at the start of the year, SMRT has re-introduced the virtual shopping ads on selected MRT stations but this time there are more providers and discounted items. From discounted musical tickets from Showbiz Asia, electronic items from Courts and even hair packages from Urban Hair.

What's so good about this virtual shopping are the deals that they are offering. So if you get to see these ads on MRT stations, try to check out if some items interest you.

This run actually made it to the news here in Singapore. The run is called "Outbreak Manila" wherein participants have to run 5 kilometers with a "Walking Dead" twist. The runners have to run with some zombies blocking their way. Fun, right! Singapore, you can do better than that!

Sundown Marathon has finally released the route map for the 10KM, 21KM and 42KM. Starting point will be at the Open Field @ Nicoll Highway MRT Station. Hopefully, they have arranged with the MRT to extend the train hours. Based on Sundown Marathon's website, 10KM will flag off at 9:30PM, 21KM at 11:30PM and 42KM at 12:45AM.

1) Actual Passport and a photocopy (valid for more than six months)
2) Duly filled form
3) 2 recent passport size photos
4) Invitation letter if staying with relatives
5) Employment letter or employment permit

7) Round-trip air ticket
8) Visa fee of $65 (Singapore)

If you are permanent resident or holding a visa of Canada, USA, Shengen States, UK, Japan, New Zealand or Australia, you are allowed to enter for 30 days on visa exempt.

After the lent season, I saw this photo in Facebook.  I immediately saved the photo in my phone and I told myself I would blog about it.  So what is my reaction?  I am so disgusted with these people.  Some of them are even Filipinos.  What are they thinking?  The cross is supposed to be the symbol of Christ's sacrifice and suffering for us but what they have done with their sexy and funny posing are just blasphemous.

Lent is the season for us to repent and take the opportunity to look at ourselves and reflect. This is not the time to add up more sins by posing like there's no God.

One of the veteran broadcast journalist in the Philippines Angelo Castro, Jr. has passed away last April 5, 2012 after struggling with lung cancer. Tina Monzon-Palma, Castro's co-anchor for more than 20 years gave a tribute to the news icon.



Rest in peace Angelo Castro, Jr. Thank you for your contribution to the Philippine media.

Run 350 is two weeks to go and the race pack collection was held last Friday until Sunday at Velocity@Novena. Run 350 race pack collection was breezy and there were no queue at all.

It's been a while since Nokia has given me a phone to try out. It was July 2008 when Nokia has given me a Nokia N82 to try out for two weeks. I was still new in Singapore then and I was using my Sony Ericsson phone. It was a great experience and their logistics for delivery and pick-up was awesome.

This time, I was contacted by Nokia to try out their latest phone Nokia Lumia 800. It was a two week trial period and I basically enjoyed using the phone. Nokia Lumia 800 uses a micro SIM but since I don't have an extra micro SIM, I wasn't able to test the SMS and call function of the Nokia Lumia 800. I'm a current iPhone user so I would somehow compare the Nokia Lumia 800 to the iPhone.

Now let me start with the good points of the Nokia Lumia 800. What impressed me the most is the 3.7" AMOLED ClearBlack glass touchscreen. The visual display is very clear and when you touch the screen it responds quickly. Nokia Lumia 800 is operating in Windows 7 platform and it runs fast compared to my iPhone.

Nokia Lumia 800 has the basic functions you need in your phone: SMS, making calls and email. What set it apart from the other phones is its camera, which is 8 Megapixels, auto focus with Carl Zeiss Optics with 2x LED Flash and HD Video.

If you love your iPhone and you're worried that Nokia Lumia 800 won't give you the wide selection of apps and games, well you're mistaken. Almost all of those apps and games on iTunes are in Nokia's Marketplace. And if you're a gamer, you will absolutely love the XBOX Live experience. You read it right, you can play your favorite XBOX Live games in your Nokia Lumia 800.

Now for the points that I didn't like. Nokia Lumia 800 has this slick classy design but the charging slot on top of the phone was a bother. I'm just not sure whether after months of using it, it will be detached.

Another thing that bothered me is when I view photos. It just displays differently in Nokia Lumia 800 than in my iPhone or in my laptop. Even photos from my iPhone or my laptop looks great, in Nokia Lumia 800 the color and quality looks off. Anyway, you can see my Nokia Lumia 800 captured photos.

If you are looking for a new phone, Nokia Lumia 800 is great choice! With the classy design and pumped features, you won't go wrong. And it is far cheaper than the iPhone when you get a subscription plan.

After my first ever 15 kilometers run at the 2XU Compression Run, I treated myself with a new recipe which I got from a defunct cooking show of Lani Mercado, lol. Since the healthier option now is eating tuna, I have decided to switch from beef to tuna in my pasta.

Here are the ingredients of the Tuna Spaghetti in Tomato Basil Sauce:
1. Fettuccine pasta
2. 2 cans of tomato sauce
3. Olive oil
4. Basil leaves (finely chopped)
5. 2 cans of Century Tuna (Hot & Spicy)
6. Cheese
7. Chopped garlic
8. Salt and pepper

Tuna Spaghetti in Tomato Basil Sauce steps:
1. In a big casserole, fill it up with water then put into a boil.
2. Once it is boiling, add 1 tablespoon of salt and cooking oil.
3. Pour in the noodles then mix occasionally.
4. After 15 minutes, check the noodles if it is already cooked. You can only tell once you bite on it. Drain the noodles then mix the noodles with some olive oil.
5. Now for the sauce, sautee the garlic then pour in the tomato sauce.
6. Mix in the drained can of tuna and the finely chopped basil leaves.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste

Serve your Tuna Spaghetti in Tomato Basil Sauce with some generous cheese!
