Wildlife Reserves Singapore also added that the public will be able to see Jia Jia and Kai Kai in action only in December at their new home at the River Safari. The panda pair has to complete a month quarantine and get to familiarize first in their new home.
The panda pair was supposed to arrive in Singapore in March but more changes had to be made to their $8.5 million home.
To those who are excited to see the pandas, Jia Jia and Kai Kai will touch down Singapore at 8:20 AM on September 6 via Singapore Airlines. The five-hour flight will be comfortable as assured by WRS. The aircraft's temperature shall mimic the panda's natural habitat and they shall be delighted with the in-flight meals of bamboos, fruit and water.
The upcoming attraction River Safari will house Jia Jia and Kai Kai and also other endangered animals from China like the giant salamander and the red panda. River Safari is also located at the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari compound.
