Posted on Sunday, August 19, 2012 Brita 42629 Slim Pitcher and extra Brita Pitcher replacement filters. It's more than two years now and I'm still using it with frequent changing of the filters.
With my more than two years of using this product, I have benefited with clean and odor free water. I just find Singapore water too tough and chlorinated. With the Brita pitcher not only it reduces chlorine, it is also certified to remove 98% of lead and reduces mercury and other contaminants. What's so nice about the Brita pitcher is that it is lightweight, it can fit in to the fridge and it's easy to maintain.
Now, I'm thinking of getting a new one. I have been keeping my Brita Pitcher in room temperature but now I want a new one to keep in the fridge.
Just a tip in replacing the filters. A filter can last every 40 gallons or about every 2 months for family use. The salesperson who sold me my first Brita pitcher told me that once you notice that the water is dripping slowly it is time to replace the filter.
