Starhub Interactive Commercial

One of Singapore's leading telecom just launched a new interactive commercial wherein iPhone and Android users have the chance of winning goodies and a whopping $10,000 cash. And the good thing is that you don't need to be a Starhub subscriber. Cool huh?

To participate, you need to download the Hub It! App. Use the application while watching the Starhub new commercial on TV or in YouTube. The application will instruct you to tap your phone on certain portion of the commercial, which will provide clues or goodies.

Other way to earn goodies is to scan any QR codes of Starhub Love Tail posters all over Singapore, 600 were scattered on bus stops. Happy playing!

Wicked The Musical Coming to Singapore

Wicked The Musical Coming to Singapore
Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth
If you are a "Glee" fan then you must know that the song "Defying Gravity" by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer came from the musical "Wicked." If you are in Singapore or nearby the Lion City, Wicked is coming this December 7 and will only be running until January 29, 2012. It will be held at the Grand Theater at Marina Bay Sands and tickets ranges from S$55 to S%1000 (VIP Box for 4 seats).

Wicked is based on the Gregory Maguire novel titled "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West." Music and lyrics was from Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman.

According to Wikipedia, "The musical is told from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz: Elphaba, the misunderstood girl with emerald-green skin, and Galinda, later Glinda, the beautiful, ambitious and popular blonde. Wicked tells the story in which these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the North while struggling through opposing personalities and viewpoints, rivalry over the same love-interest, reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government, and, ultimately, Elphaba's public fall from grace. The plot begins before and continues after Dorothy's arrival from Kansas and includes references to locations, events, characters and situations from both the 1939 film and Baum's novel."

David DiMuzio "Naiisip Mo Ba"

I just want to share this music video shared by my colleague. This song is from David Dimuzio, an American singer-songwriter that likes Filipino music a lot. This song is in English and Filipino. You should check out his YouTube page where he did some OPM renditions. I was impressed with his Tagalog!

Nike+ GPS Review

Nike+ GPS Review
Last July 23 during my run at Marina21K, I was equipped with my two Nike+ gadgets. I used my Nike+ GPS iPhone application as well the Nike+ sensor and watch. I ran for the half-marathon and I was worried that my 3Gs iPhone won't last since I only have 60% of my battery. Now with my review of Nike+ GPS.

Features
Nike+ GPS currently tracks distance, pace, calories burned as well as the exact GPS location of your runs. You can play songs during your run and you can pre-set some power songs that the app can trigger to boost your run. The app has a voice over depending on your preferred distance. There's also a summary roundown after your run with additional cheer from some famous sports people.

Pros
What I like about this application is the interface. It's striking red and very easy to use. The app has a built-in integration with Facebook that allows you to hear claps every time your friend sends a comment or likes your Nike+ status.
