I am almost done with my shopping for my family and I only need to buy some toys and a shirt for our house helper. If I still have time, I might just shop in the airport. I just hope I can get my nieces some toys. Over the weekend, I went shopping in an Outlet store and went for a haircut. It's a funny story that the stylist did not understand what I want. I was just surprised that he used the machine razor ala barbers cut. Now, my hair looks so short.
Anyway, my vacation is very short from Friday early morning to Monday night. The first that I will do is to see my dentist. Hopefully, she won't reject me on having a dental cleaning. No cavities I hope! After that, I might go shopping and have my massage. Hello again to hoarding of corned beef, tuna and sardines.
Saturday, I still don't have plans. Maybe I'll ask my mom, my sister and my niece to go to the mall to eat or watch a movie.
Sunday, my whole family will visit our dad in Manila Memorial Park. My eldest sister promised to treat me for lunch, which I am looking forward to. Hopefully, we're munching in Dampa!
Will post some stories when I get back. See you Manila!

Notice to Filipinos working in Singapore holding Employment Pass and Permanent Residency. The Philippines Embassy Singapore has released the guidelines and reminder below to observe proper behavior and to observe Singapore laws. This guideline was released due to the alleged criticisms and anti-Singapore comments made by some Filipinos. As a fellow worker here in Singapore, as much as possible I keep my thoughts to myself or only to my close friends. We are here to work and Singapore deserves the best from us.

This is one disturbing video! In an episode of Willing Willie hosted by Willie Revillame, he humiliated the young boy many times. The boy was in tears but Willie even let him dance again sensually for the last time. Willie is such an awful person! Please buy Willie some manners and sensitivity!

The starting point of the run was at the Tampines Bike Park. There were only few participants for the men's category and the run commenced at exactly 7:30 AM. Before the run, I did my stretching and fixed my iPhone on my left arm with my waterproof earphones. If you have been to the Tampines Bike Park, the starting point was just the opposite of its entrance. I was so dismayed that I'm wearing the wrong shoes and I was on the part it was all muddy that I had to slow down and sometimes just walk.
The trail run spanned for a total of 8 kilometers, which was two rounds of 4 kilometers of the same track. I finished the 8 kilometers in 54:30 minutes with a pace of 06'09" based from my Nike+ gadget. At the finish line, I was given my finisher medal which I am very proud of. My first ever running medal, wohoo!
This trail run was indeed one of my greatest run. I don't know though if I would run for a second time.

The Script, April 12, Fort Canning Park
Justin Bieber, April 19, Singapore Indoor Stadium
Maroon 5, April 25, Singapore Indoor Stadium
Switchfoot, April 28, Rock Auditorium
When Taylor Swift had a concert in Singapore, it was sold-out immediately. I'm very sure that this will also happen with Justin Bieber tickets.
I'll be posting next month the concert schedule for the month of May 2011. Sara Bareilles is one of the performers for the month of May in Singapore.

I just saw in TV that there is a Singapore version of the hit comedy show "Just For Laughs." I tried to search it in YouTube and here is one video. Very funny! I think Asians are funnier than our counterparts. What do you think?

Japan was hit by a 8.9 magnitude earthquake yesterday. The quake struck the northern part of Japan and according to reports it is the biggest recorded quake in Japan. In the world perspective, it is the fifth largest quake since 1990.
Reports an hour ago recorded a casualty of 236 dead, 725 missing and 1,028 injured. It was also reported that there were a total of 123 aftershocks, 110 of which has a magnitude of 5.
If you have a family member and friends in Japan, do contact them. Let's all pray that the nearby countries won't be hit by tsunami. It really scares the hell out of me.

Mara Clara is the most watched primetime series in the Philippines. It was a remake of the original Mara Clara that aired in 1992 which starred Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes. Anyway, there's this viral video featuring a Mara Clara fan that cried when Mara died in the series. I can't recall if Mara did die in the original series but I'm against in changing story lines.
Anyway, here is the video. I hope the older sister in the background informed her sister that it was just a show. She shouldn't let her sister wail for so long.

This is my argument. If you can dress well at work, dress properly for a certain occasion or person then why can't you do the same thing when visiting God's house? Our priest in Yishun have been scolding us before that I make it a point to dress well, be punctual and act properly in church. If you would analyze it, that is the right thing to do.
I know God doesn't look at appearance but we should be respectful at least. Just my thoughts.

Anyway the morning of the run, I woke up 6 in the morning. The run would start 7:45 sharp and I was running late. I left my place 6:50 and I arrived the MRT by 7 in the morning. I was so anxious that I would be late and that happened. The train from Yishun arrived 7:15 and by that time I know that I would be late. My friends actually reached the venue very early and they phoned me to ask if they need to wait for me. I told them to just go ahead and I'll just catch up.
I reached Raffles Place MRT by 7:45 and I immediately rushed to the baggage counter. Since the tents including the baggage counter were around the field, I had no choice but to walk over there. Sadly, it was wet and muddy. After fixing the headset and the iPhone on my left arm, I headed to the starting point and gave it all. It's just awful that I was so way behind. I was late 15 minutes. My run in general was okay. The downside was only the hot sun.
Moving along, before the 4 kilometers mark I finally saw my first friend. It shocked me really to see her behind my other two friends. Apparently, she was having "cramps." Just meters apart were my couple friends. I didn't talk to them and just gave them a tap on their shoulder and a smile. I was so determine to catch up with my 15 minutes lag time that I finished my run in 1 hour and 7 minutes. That is 16 minutes improvement from my last 10 kilometers run! Wohoo!
When I reached the finished line, the marshall instructed me to queue to the goodie bag and it was a long line. I had to get back again to the muddy field to get my goodie bag. After the goodie bag, I went to the sports drink and fruits tent. While queuing, I received a call from my friends and they were asking me where I was. After getting my bag, changed my shirt and shoes, I finally met my friends. After cleaning our muddy shoes, we headed to Lau Pa Sat where we had our lunch at Happy V.
