So who can join? Anyone who has a blog as simple as that. If you have multiple blogs, you can only use one blog (one person = 1 entry). So don't rush in writing your entry. I will validate the entries on May 16.
You can join this contest with these easy steps:
1. Choose a funny story on my old personal blog or from this blog. It can be a single story or a series of stories from my blog. You can search from Year 2006 to the present (hint: check for the Rant and Rave category). After picking the story, create a post in your own blog explaining why it is funny to you. A minimum of 150 words is just right. You then need to link my funny post in your contest entry.
Your entry might look like this (please change):
(Please change!) This is my entry to the Humor Me Makoy Contest. I have been following Makoy's blog and his Loren Legarda Is So Fake in Harapan VP Debate post is the funniest because it depicts the reality of human survival. Wahahaha!
2. On your next paragraph, you need to write your own funny story. It depends to you on how long you can write it as long as it is hilarious. You may add your own funny picture if you desire it. But the photo is not required.
3. At the last paragraph, paste this code to thank my beloved sponsors.

4. Include this contest badge in your blog site wide.
5. Lastly, you need to leave a comment to this post with your contest entry link.

The pool was crowded as usual and there were a lot of kids with their swimming instructor. I was honestly exhausted from an hour of swimming. I should make it a habit now to swim every Saturday. Anyway after that, I went to Fair Price to buy the ingredients for my chicken with tomato sauce recipe. That was yummy by the way.
Sunday morning, I woke up around 8 A.M. to get the OEC at Lucky Plaza. I was early so I can catch the morning Palm Sunday mass. At Lucky Plaza, it was as usual crowded with Pinoys. At iRemits stall, the queue was long especially the OEC collection. With me are my passport, my employment contract, airline tickets and my employment pass. It was nice that Pinoys helped me when they saw me that I don't know the process. I was told to get the form and sign it then queue with my documents. After filling up the form, I went to queue with my documents. After "nanay" checked my documents, she placed my documents on queue. It was annoying that some are unprepared with their requirements. They should have researched first or asked friends. Some are even unsure if they want a multiple or a single OEC.
When it was my turn, I asked for a multiple OEC since I am going to the Philippines on April and July. My employment pass is only valid until June this year so I brought my contract with me. I was surprisingly annoyed with the other lady when she told me that she can only give me one. That their basis is on the validity of my employment pass. I told her that why my other friends can get beyond their pass validity in the premise of them presenting their employment contract. She again repeated her line with the validity of the pass so I just said okay so I can leave.
It was past 10 already when I left Lucky Plaza. I think I arrived in Yishun past 11 already. Since the mass is 11:45 A.M., I strolled the mall first. At G2000, I realized that it was already 11:45. I rushed to the bus terminal and hoped that I can still make it. The bus arrived late so I have decided to just attend the 5:30 P.M. mass. I went home and had my lunch. Before 5:30 P.M., I was on my way to the church. At the church, I was given two palm leaves. I then wondered why the doors are closed. I then realized that they have moved the mass to 5 P.M. Isn't that great? After the gospel, they opened the doors and I was seated on the third row. Darn, I missed the blessing of the palm leaves. I should have attended the morning mass even I was 15 minutes late.
Let us be reminded of the Holy Week.

Now with the judges, I find them very tough on the contestants. To start with they chose the weak finalists. The new judge Ellen De Generes doesn't look like a good thing on American Idol. She wasn't as great as Paula Abdul but just a normal judge with a little humor on the side. On
this week, she was subtle with her comments. I am used with Simon Cowell's remarks so I'm passing him. Randy Jackson on the other hand was being real and was a bit hard this year.
My least favorite judge Kara DioGuardi is very displeasing this year. She looks like she's going to eat Simon Cowell with her antics. Icky Kara! She's too close with Simon that it looks very inappropriate. You're married to begin with. She's trying hard to be the "judge" and has this attitude that she's well established. I know that she has written numerous hit songs but does she has to brag?
Will this be my last season on American Idol? Let's have to see next year or maybe I'll just watch the new show of Simon Cowell instead.

Anyway, after my dinner at Lucky Plaza, I went straight to Takashimaya. I went to the Activity Center to check if there is a sale. There was a baby stuff sale but I wasn't able to buy anything. I went to the Kids section of Takashimaya to buy a doll for my niece Sam and a dress for my other niece Anika. I was able to buy a Mell Chan doll which I find very cute. I hope my niece will enjoy her new doll. For Anika, I was able to buy a casual dress and a separate top and shorts. As requested by her mom, I bought in color pink.
After the kids stuff, I headed home. On my way to the MRT, I saw a shirt from Fox which I really like. I ended up buying that red shirt and also some shirts for my dad, my mom, my sister and my brother-in-law. I even got a free e-bag from them. I also was able to buy some boxers and shirts at Giordano.
I reached home very excited with the stuff that I bought for my family. I even posted the doll that I bought on my Facebook wall tagging my sisters.
Anyway, I need to buy food goodies for my family. I am planning to buy Bak Kwa for them to try. It is just like their Tocino version but it is is flattened. Quite expensive though, which you can buy per grams I think.
This morning by the way I remembered about my credit card due. I suddenly forgot about it yesterday. Oh my, I might incur penalty charges. Bad credit record, Makoy.

Anyway, I was very impressed with the debate format. ABS-CBN even has a real-time voting from different parts of the country to decipher whether they think the candidates are telling the truth or not.
Loren Legarda really made an impression on me. She is so fake. Are we supposed to vote for you since you helped in the rescue of Arlene Dela Cruz and others from the rebels? I really like her before when she crossed over from TV to politics. But when she moved to Estrada's side, I started hating her.
I think Roxas was the over-all favorite from the debate and Legarda who was second in the current surveys was given unpleasant remarks and ratings from televiewers.
The other Vice Presidential candidates looked like a display on the debate. I was watching it online last night and when it was their time, I clicked it fast forward. Har har. I am both displeased with Fernando and Binay. Enough of their dynasty in Makati and Marikina.
The show ended with the VP candidate's scores. Roxas has the highest score with 54% followed by Binay (13%), Fernando (13%), Yasay (11%), Legarda (4%) and Sonza (4%).
Boo Loren!

Yesterday, would you believe that I finished one whole season of United States of Tara? I am excited to watch two new episodes of Season 2 maybe later. It's a story of a mom with multiple personalities or (DID). It is produced by Steven Spielberg so it is definitely an interesting series.
Anyway, over the weekend I have started with my crash diet. I am really frustrated with my tummy that I now have to eat less especially carbohydrates. It's just bothers me a lot that I really feel hungry by 11 P.M. since I sleep past midnight. I still have to learn how to sleep early, maybe 10 P.M.
For my diet, I will only eat half rice. Breakfast, I will stop eating bee hoon and I will just prepare a whole wheat bread sandwich. Boring right? To make it all worst, I will stop drinking coffee since it's making me acidic. For dinner, I will eat less with fruits and milk. I am thinking also of running again at night and do sit ups afterwards. Hopefully, I can manage this diet and flatten my tummy soon. Aiyo!

The first documentary was Food Inc., which tackled about the reality of food production in the US. It is very alarming to know that because of high demand, they treat animals in an unhumane way. Would you believe that chickens are fed with corn and antibiotics to make them fat? If before it would take 3 to 4 months to grow a chicken, now it is only 40+ days. These 40 days chickens cannot even stand that long since they carry a lot of weight. Just because we love our KFC, Mc Donald's or even our Ayam Penyet the biggest portion, we let the animals suffer.
Another alarming subject is the food that they fed to cows. We all know that cows are herbivores, meaning they eat grass. Because food producers want them to grow faster and fatter, they feed cows with corn. Of course corn is cheaper in the US since they can produce a lot now. The down side of cows of eating corn? Well, they just develop an e-coli bacteria that kill humans. Cows eat grass not corn period.
In the documentary, they have featured kids that died because of eating burgers infected with e-coli. It's just sad that the government that should protect the people are protecting the food producers. Majority of agencies that deals with Food are somehow related to the food producers. Bizarre right? Even the Clinton and Bush administrations had ties with the producers.
My take on this, better eat organic foods even it is quite expensive compared to the commercial foods. We should buy local produce and read the labels. You are what you eat...

I knew about this news yesterday. It really touched my heart when a 7 year old boy who called 911 finally met the lady on the other line. When the boy knew that there were armed men inside their house, he grabbed his little sister in the toilet then called 911. Thankfully, when the robbers discovered the boy called 911, they rushed out of the house without anyone hurt.

What made me really happy was when he called me "Tito" (uncle). She can talk now unlike last year's rumble words. She's definitely not in the mood and was concentrating on her milk botle. So I just talked to my sister. My niece was trying to amaze me with her number skills with the help of my mom. She can count now from 1 to 10. Can you beat that?
Anyway, the other day I had a chance to do web cam with my other sister and my other niece Anika. She's 8 months now and very cute. Thank God my niece inherited my color and my cuteness. Har har. She's celebrating her first birthday on July. Since I don't want to do favoritism, I'll be going home again in July.
I can't wait for my vacation in April. I just hope it won't be as hot as they are saying now. It's so hot now here in Singapore. What more in the Philippines.

After the Chocolate World, we went to check the Casino near Universal Studios. We wore shorts so we did not went inside. The casino was quite disappointing for me since I had the chance to see casinos in Macau.
Our last stop was Sentosa. We just went there to ride the luge. It was surprisingly cheap for the three rides for only S$20. Would you imagine a single ride is only S$10 while the two rides cost S$16. We were greedy to choose three rides. Haha. It was my second time by the way to ride the luge. This time the new route of luge was open so we tried that route for two times. After the second ride, I find the ride very exhausting and it was sooo hot! We all wished that we just bought two rides.
After three rides, as planned we searched for Singapore's chili crab. It was my first time to eat a chili crab. I am very happy that my friends went with me. Instead of going to Suntec, we went to Lau Pa Sat to eat the Chili crab. My other friend was complaining of walking a far distance to Suntec when in reality Lau Pa Sat is also a long walk. At Lau Pa Sat, we checked each stalls and was suddenly stalked by an uncle. Thankfully, his stall sells chili crab and we went to sit. He began with his sales talk. If I can recall, we ordered for one chili crab, shrimp in battered cereal, Oyster Omelet and some vegetables. I just find everything just okay. The chili crab was just spicy but it is not extraordinary. Quite bland actually.
Since, we were in Lau Pa Sat, we took the opportunity to eat at Wendy's. Too bad there's no Bacon Mushroom Melt so we only had frosty. Aside from Wendy's, there is also Mang Kiko's Lechon and Happy V (Jollibee imitation) in Lau Pa Sat.

At the Immigration in Macau, we visited the Tourist kiosk and asked for directions. We first took the bus to Ruins of St. Paul. At the bus stop near the Ruins of ST. Paul, we first went to lunch at Pizza Hut. I'm surprised with the accent of the waitress. It's a mixture of Chinese and Portuguese. Bizaare!
Anyway, after our lunch, we headed to the Ruins of St. Paul. After our photo session, we went back to the Immigration and headed to the free shuttle bus of The Venetian. The Venetian was awesome! It was my first time to a casino and it was fantastic. I just find the architecture so grand. After the Venetian, we went to City of Dreams. At the City of Dreams, we got to watch the light show, which was so awesome!
After trying our luck at the slot machines at the Venetian, we headed back to the Immigration to catch the 5:30 P.M. trip. Back in Hong Kong, we headed to Ajisen Ramen to have our dinner. My first time in Ajisen Ramen and it was so fulfilling after.I miss Hong Kong, Macau and their cold weather. I hope I can visit again soon.
