Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2010
Yesterday, I have finally registered myself to the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2010. This is a charity run, which promotes a more accepting society towards the ex-offenders. Funds that will be generated from this event will go to the Yellow Ribbon Fund (YRF), which is devoted to the development and implementation of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for ex-offenders and support services for families of the incarcerated.

Anyway, the race will be on September 5, 2010. There are two race: 10km Competitive run and 6km Fun run. I only signed up for the fun run. I just hope I wouldn't be late for the 8:15 A.M. fun run. I am just ecstatic that this is my first run and at the same time I am helping in the awareness towards the ex-offenders.

To those who want to join, visit the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2010. The first 1,500 registrants will receive a goody bag. Early bird rate are as follows: Fun Run - $25 and Competitive Run - $35.
