American Idol fans, here's the latest on who's to replace Simon Cowell's place in the American Idol. According to the Hollywood Reporter, American Idol producer Simon Fuller's list now includes Justin Timberlake and Elton John.

It was also reported that they are trying to lure back ex-producer Nigel Lythgoe. When Nigel was asked, he wants to clean the American Idol judge panel. I agree with Nigel as Kara and Ellen are not working well with the panel.

Sources also say that the possible last judge to stay is Randy Jackson. It would be difficult though to let go Ellen DeGeneres as she has a multi-year contract with FOX. Too bad for FOX. They have thought that Ellen DeGeneres can bring ratings to American Idol. It was a big mistake to sign her a multi-year contract.
