E-books Now Outselling Hardcovers
According to Amazon.com, e-books are not outselling our loved hardcovers. This was based on their sales figure last month. Based on their press release, they are selling 180 e-books for every 100 hardcovers. Free e-books are not included in that figure.

Still according to Amazon, over the past three months the ratio of e-books vs hardcovers is 143 to 100. The reason for this according to Amazon is that the Kindle is now selling at $189. In the first half of 2010, over-all e-book sales are three times as high from the same period last year.

If this press release is for real, I think it wouldn't take long for the old-school books to be history. That is bad!
