This contest is my biggest contest so far with a total of $300 cash prize. There are only a few entries this time and I am wondering what went wrong. Should I assume that most bloggers are too serious in life or my contest is not a catch?
Anyway, I am thinking of creating a second part of Humor Me Makoy Contest. This time would be Humor Me Makoy Photo Contest for my Photo blog. With that, I am asking for comments on how I would improve in running a contest. Any feedback will be appreciated.
This new contest is still tentative and I still need to start on looking for sponsors.

ok naman po sir yung concept kaso lang parang hindi talaga ganun kaclick kasi ang hirap po talagang gumawa ng isang entry about humor especially personal humor experience. siguro po maganda if photo contest like nung kay yugatech, or try social media networking gaya po ng facebook, padamihan ng likes parang ganun, saka para additional chances of winning gaya po ng random winner.
im interested po pala to be part of your sponsor pag meron na po kayong concrete concept, inform niyo na lang po ako. salamat, more power sir makoy.
The contest was actually nice. It is just that it was too challenging to come up with a humor post. Not everyone is a natural comedian.
I'm looking forward for your part two. A photo contest would be much easier to join.
If you need more participants in your contests, keep it plain and simple but not stupid. What do I mean by that? Majority of the people in the Internet are busy. Make contest rules that are basically simple to accomplish like have them post their photo entry, mention your contest in their blog post with a link back to your post and have them Tweet it. Stuffs like that. Just my suggestions though. I know you can do more creatively! :D
