Posted on Monday, May 3, 2010

If you are a resident of Singapore or even a traveler, you can enjoy free wireless broadband internet with speeds of up to 1 Mbps at public areas. This is run by three local wireless operators namely iCELL Network, M1 and SingTel as part of its Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure initiative.

To enjoy the free wireless internet on public hot spots, you need a WiFi capable device and a registered Wireless@SG account. You can check the list of public areas here.

Happy free surfing as this service will be free until 31 March 2013.
