Anyway, I did the alternative. I went to Lucky Plaza and bought a medium box which only costs 50 Singapore Dollars inclusive of pick-up and delivery to the Philippines. Isn't that cool? And they also have a free packaging tape.
Last week, I was able to buy some goodies at Giants and this weekend I have pushed myself to fill up the whole box. Yesterday, I went to the Giordano Warehouse in Paya Lebar. I only bought four items since most of the items aren't that nice and some have defects. And today I went to Fair Price to buy some toiletries, chocolates and even kitchen towels. Thanks Chona for the kitchen towel tip.
Since I only bought a few items at the Giordano Warehouse Sale, after the mass this evening I went to Orchard to buy more Giordano items. I was able to complete my list. Sadly, my mom's and dad's pants sizes aren't available. They are too big for Singapore size I think.
My last stop was North Point in Yishun. I bought first a pentel pen then lastly went to the toy store to buy some goodies for my two angel nieces. I hope they will like it. Anyway, I arrived home around 10 P.M. then had my dinner. After my late dinner, I labelled every item with names. I think I'm all set. My package is for collection on Tuesday and according to them their schedule of shipment is every Monday.
I better sleep now.

At the MRT, I was very pleased that I was able to seat. For two days already from Yishun to my work I was standing. And to add more casualties to the pain from standing so long, I also suffered from leg cramps. Back to my MRT ride, there was this old Chinese guy in his late 50s entered the train with his red plastic bag. Since there were no more seats, he just stood next to the rail and minutes later people stared at him. He started talking in Chinese by himself. Since I cannot understand him I just ignored him. Anyway, if I can understand him I will still ignore him.
He continued with his story telling then one magical thing happened. He went singing in Chinese with matching dance number. I think he did better than Heidi Montag hahaha. After two stations, someone alighted then he sat down. Thank God he stopped singing then a minute he went back to this old position then went again with his singing and dancing. I have thought of recording him but I’m afraid he would confront me. Haha.
After one station, he alighted. But before alighting, guess what he did. He just waved goodbye to everyone. Haha.

For the sixth part of my musical segment, I am featuring the hit musical “We Will Rock You.” We Will Rock You is a jukebox musical which is based from the songs of “Queen.” The title of the musical is from Queen’s hit single of the same title.
The musical was written by Ben Elton with some collaboration with Queen member’s Brian May and Roger Taylor. We Will Rock You opened on May 2002 in Dominion Theatre and still playing there. A sequel for We Will Rock You has been made and will soon hit the theatres.
The musical plot by the way took place in the distant future where originality and individualism were disregarded. A “Dreamer” appears in the story that will make the return of rock n’ roll possible.
Some of the famous Queen tracks that have been used in the musical are “Radio GaGa”, “I Want To Break Free”. “We Will Rock You”, “We Are the Champions” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
We Will Rock You have won numerous Theatregoers' Choice Awards, Helpmann Awards, Naledi Theatre Awards and Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

Third week of my body challenge and so far my chest, arms and legs are aching as of typing this post. Too bad though that I have gained another .04 lbs. Now, I am weighing 137.04 lbs. I don't know what's wrong with what I am doing but, I am wondering why am still gaining weight when I'm hitting the gym and I have cut down my food intake.
I have asked some people and I think I am on the right track. They said that the reason why I'm gaining weight is because I am gaining muscle. I think that is a good thing.
I'm looking forward on my model body. Hopefully, it won't take as much time. I think I need to do double time in the gym. Gym again tomorrow!

Over the weekend I was able to visit Sembawang Shopping Centre. I was desiring to go to Giant to buy a new gym outfit since it cost a lot cheaper there. Anyway, I have been hitting the gym three times a day and I only have two sets of gym clothes. I don't want to use my regular t-shirts since the sweat will stick on it.
Back to the Sembawang Shopping Centre, you can go there by riding the shuttle bus from the bus stop near Fair Price in Yishun. Sembawang Shopping Centre is new and designed nicely inside. I just don't like its exterior. The mall even have neon lights on its ceiling that changes color every minute. Cool right?
And my favorite place in the mall is the Park located at the top floor. That park will be loved by children and even adults that love to play with the water.
Here are more of my photos of the Sembawang Shopping Centre and the Sembawang Shopping Centre Park.

Two weeks ago, I received a package from my sister in UK. I asked her to send me the caffeine shampoo that I saw in a newspaper months ago. Aside from the shampoo, she also sent a Nike Shirt and a Shoe Lab sneakers.
Anyway, I just took some photos to see if there is an effect in my hair and I think it does. I just hope it will make my hair grow back and lessen the shedding. The shampoo by the way is Alpecin. It is a German made brand and its main component is caffeine. According to their research, caffeine helps restrict the DHT which causes the baldness for men.
I just hope this will work for me so I don't need to have a hair transpant.

One of the greatest Disney Movie is now a musical. Lion King which is a hit movie back in 1994 debuted as a musical in 1997. The music and lyrics for the musical was done by Elton John and Tim Rice respectively. It won numerous Tony Awards like the Best Musical, Best Scenic Design for a Musical, Best Costume Design for a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Musical, Best Choreography and Best Direction of a Musical.
If you have seen the movie you will definitely love this musical especially with the songs "Circle of Life", "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." The musical is visually stunning with twenty-five species of animal in it.
The Lion King Musical is currently running at the Lyceum Theatre at the West End, Taiwan and also in Las Vegas.

Yesterday marked the second week of my fitness battle. So far I'm still doing good even I gained 1.5 lbs. I am now 137 lbs from last week 35.5 lbs. I think I have to cut down my food intake or just pump more exercises. I am very guilty though the whole week that I have been doing light weights and we dined at Seoul Garden, which is an eat-all-you-can restaurant. Hihi...
Anyway, this picture was taken last Saturday after my gym session. I received a comment from the my last photo in Singapore Flyer that I look fat. Haha, you *!&^%. Hopefully, this photo doesn't look fatty. After gym, I went straight to the swimming pool. I incredibly noticed that my legs and arms are much stronger than before, which is good for my swimming. Hopefully, I can do swimming and visit the gym every Saturday.
Have to sleep now. Sigh, work again tomorrow.

It's been a while since I have posted my new recipe. For today I am going to share the recipe of my former housemate in Punggol. Thanks again to Sharon for this recipe. I call this Green Bell Pepper with Minced Pork. Cute right?
Anyway, the procedure is a bit toxic but I can assure you that it is delicious. Here are the ingredients first:
1. Green bell pepper
2. minced pork
3. onion
4. tomato
5. garlic
6. oyster sauce
7. soy sauce
8. salt
9. oil
Now for the toxic procedure...
1. Grill the green bell pepper until it turns brown to black. You will know that it ready if you can peel the plastic coating of the bell pepper.
2. Make a circular hole from the base of the bell pepper. Take away the seeds and scrape off the white lining from the inside.
3. On a pan, sautee the garlic, tomato, onion and the minced pork.
4. Add the oyster sauce and soy sauce then mix. You can add more soy sauce or oyster sauce depending on your taste. Add some salt if needed.
5. Make sure that the sauteed minced pork is well dried since we are going to put it inside the bell pepper.
6. If the minced pork is ready, put it inside the green bell pepper and make sure that it is intact.
7. On the same pan, add some oil then fry the green bell pepper. Start from the bottom then turn it on the side. Voila!
Best if served with hot rice.

One of my latest Singapore sighting was the Singapore Flyer. Not only you can see and ride the Singapore Flyer but you can also enjoy other sightings like the Yakult Rainforest Discovery, Flight Experience and the Formula 1 track. By the way the Singapore Flyer costs around S$30 and the Yakult Rainforest Discovery is free of charge.
Yakult Rainforest Discovery is very nice especially the pond with the koi fishes. They also have running waterfalls and tons and tons of plants and flowers. By the way above the Yakult Rainforest Discovery is the Singapore Flyer itself.
Check out more of my Yakult Rainforest Discovery photos here.

For the fourth edition of my musical segment, I am featuring Oliver! “Oliver!” is a British musical which is based from Charles Dicken’s novel “Oliver Twist.” Music and lyrics for the said musical was crafted by Lionel Bart. It has been running for more than 40 years after it premiered in West End in 1960. Currently, it is running in London since January of this year.
Compared to Charles Dicken’s Oliver Twist, the musical plot is simplified and one character (Fagin) is more of a comic than a villain in the novel. The musical is packed with drama and great music. Two of the famous songs from that musical are “I’d Do Anything” and “As Long As He Needs Me.”
The musical by the ways runs with the story of Oliver, an orphan whose mother died at childbirth. When he escaped the orphanage, he met a group of boys that pick-pocket for their master. He eventually learned the tricks of pick-pocketing and was caught stealing. The story unfolds when they have discovered about Oliver’s family history.
This is have to see!

Last Monday was an extended holiday here in Singapore since Singapore celebrated its 44th birthday last Sunday. I was able to do a lot of things especially not skipping my gym session. Over the weekend, I was able to clean my room (finally), did my laundry, went to the church and also visited the gym.
One week after my first session in the gym I can say that I am a bit satisfied that I lost .5 lbs. I started by the way with a 136 lbs. My ideal weight by the way is 135 lbs so it is just easy to loose those fats. Just some tidbit, when I came here in Singapore last year I only weighed 110 lbs. Har har!
Back to my soon-to-be model body, my arms are still aching and I noticed that my right arm is bigger than my left arm. I have to work more on my left arm so it would be equally fit. I just hope I can achieve my desired model chest and abs by the next two months or make that three. I'm optimistic I can do it!
Tomorrow after work I will be going back to the gym. I was supposed to go today but my arms are still swollen. Looking forward on my next week weigh in.

Months ago, I have posted a picture of frog meats that are sold in one of the supermarkets here in Singapore. Now on a lighter side, I saw live frogs displayed in food courts. I think that is "Dampa" Singapore style.

The Manager gets suspicious.
He thinks that this guy might not have a cat and will probably feed cat food to his kids. He asks the Indian to show him his cat before he could let him have cat food. The Indian goes home and returns with a cat and gets to buy the cat food.
Next week the Indian finds dog food at special prices. He picks a dozen cans of dog food and goes to check out.
The Manager again gets suspicious. He thinks that this guy may have a cat but he cannot have a dog and he will probably feed dog-food to his kids.
He asks the Indian to bring and show him the dog before he can let him have dog food.
The Sardar goes home and returns with a dog. He gets to buy the dog food.
The following week the Indian comes to Woolworths with a bag. He asks the manager to put his hand in the bag.
The Manager puts his hand in the bag, feels some thing slimy and immediately pulls it out. He shouts at the Indian, "What the hell! This is shit, you Idiot?"
The Indian calmly replies, "Yes, now may I buy some toilet paper?"

For my third edition of my musical segment, I will feature Mamma Mia! The musical that is behind the hit movie adaptation with the same name Mamma Mia! The Movie. Just like the movie which I have seen by the way feature the songs of the popular pop group ABBA.
The musical started with the eve of Sophie Sheridan’s wedding. Sophie found her mom’s diary and discovered of her three possible fathers based on her mother’s quests. She then invited the three without telling her mother. When the three arrived, Sophie hid them and told them what is happening.
The musical progressed with the love stories of the three men with Donna, Sophie’s mom. Eventually, Donna found out about the three. The wedding day came and ended with a happy ending for Donna, Sophie and her three dads.
Mamma Mia! is filled is humor and of course great music from ABBA.

Last July 26, my Indonesian friends and I went to Chinatown to buy some goodies. After that, we went Central Mall in Clarke Quay. That mall by the way is fine. I will post pictures from that mall tomorrow. After we had our window shopping, we then waited for the bus going to Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer by the way is one the newest attractions here in Singapore. For just S$29.50, you can see the scenic view of Singapore for 30 minutes.
The Singapore Flyer has 28 air-conditioned capsules which can accomodate as much as 28 passengers. Great for family and big group of friends. By the way, I saw a tarpaulin that says you can have a meal inside. Cool for couples who want to splurge and enjoy the heights.
Aside from the main attraction, there is a Yakult Rainforest Discovery Garden. That, I like a lot. There are even koi fishes in the pond, waterfalls and big rocks. Of course, there are shops, restaurants and some surprises that you have to see.
Here are more of my Singapore Flyer Photos.

Chicken rice is one of the famous food here in Singapore. The past month, I have been seeing this tarpaulin of Anthony Bourdain endorsing a chicken rice store. Is Anthony Bourdain even aware of this endorsement?

It is officially three months since I have moved in to my new home here in Yishun. So far, my stay is great. Quite peaceful and I have privacy. When I moved here, I have started running and continued my swimming on weekends. Hopefully, I can work on going to the gym to loose some belly fats. I went by the way to the gym this afternoon and I am in pain. Help me God tomorrow! Will tell that story in the coming days.
Back to running...We have this park near our block with a huge forest in it. Scary though at night since there are a lot of trees. Thanks to my landlord, I have discovered a new running destination which is much closer to our block. The park is new and it looks nice. I have been able to take some pictures of that park and for starters here are the flower photos of Nee Soon East Park. I will post more of the park photos this week.

Our beloved former President Cory Aquino passed away this morning after battling colon cancer. It is really a sad day for Filipinos around the world. The icon of democracy is gone and I wonder if we can have someone like her to lead the Philippines. May she rest in peace.
This is the video courtesy of QTV looking back at the life of Corazon Aquino.
