Since last week, I have noticed that my heartbeat is beating irregularly. It felt like I am riding a Ferris wheel while my heartbeat slows down. I did not bother to acknowledge it last week but it happened again yesterday morning. I am scared and frightened of my condition that it might lead to something serious. My dad has a case of heart disease and I know I am predisposed of it.
I know I have to think positive since I live healthy. I eat right, I walk a lot everyday and I swim once a week The only bad thing that I do is that I stay up late everyday, 12mn to 1 A.M. actually. That habit I have to break.
Yesterday while at work, I called on the clinics my employer is accredited at. Most of those that I have called don’t have an ECG test. Thank God, a clinic in Boon Lay has an ECG. After work, I went straight to Jurong Point where the said clinic is located. Jurong Point by the way looks nice and it has some similarity with the Ayala malls in the Philippines. I registered in the clinic and waited for my turn. I told the doctor what I have been feeling and he directed me to have an ECG. This is my first time to have an ECG so I am quite scared of what will happen. As seen in the diagram, the nurse placed some gadgets on my chest, hands and ankles. It took us quite a while since the suction on my chest keeps on falling off.
After the ECG, I went back to the doctor to have my ECG test reading. According to the doctor, there’s nothing wrong with my heart. He then suggested that I go straight to the hospital to see a cardiologist. They even gave me a letter that I can give to the hospital and to my employer. I have then decided to just have my dinner after that and go home. On my way home, I opened the letter and I was smirking to read that the doctor indicated in the letter that my ECG is just fine and I was anxious, so please accommodate me. I am relieved that my ECG is just fine and the reason why I feel weak yesterday because I worried a lot.Continue reading this article...
Got hooked with lots of online social networks? Well I’m pretty sure you are also into online gaming. Role Playing Games or RPGs have been dominating the roads of online games these days. Now, if you’re a screaming fan of this niche, I’m sure you have been playing the World of Warcraft for like forever. I know a lot of online friends who are hooked to this game and I have gotten a lot of invites to play. I hope one day, I’ll get the opportunity to play in character too.
Now, if you are someone who’s new to this world, and would like to engage on it for the first time, you may want to try searching for good finds first in the web; I’m talking about good online characters or in the very first place, a good World of Warcraft account. Upon checking this great site which buys and sells World of Warcraft accounts, I would probably buy wrath of the lich king for a starter or maybe a diversion character. The site is like a one stop shop for all World of Warcraft needs. The site is very friendly and every elements sold are presented in a menu table which makes it convenient to use. If you’re all out to play the game, remember that a good preparation and research will do a lot of good tricks.
Summer is just around the corner. We all know that when this season comes, vacation period starts. It’s the time again to enjoy the sun with fun people. To explore new places will never be missed in this season of vacation entourage. Now, if you are planning to see for yourself just how big the “big apple” is, you may want to tour the place with friends or family. New York Bus Charter is the premier brand for this need. For sure, you will have all energy and enthusiasm to have an all-day tour of the state. The place is filled with good stuff and events that you wouldn’t want to miss, so having a comfortable ride to roam around is a primal need.
You may also belong to group or maybe a professional company who needs corporate bonding activity. A group can only be accommodated by a spacious bus so that the boding moment while travelling is highly ensured. There are many other destinations in the state that are left unseen but are very much worthy of attention. Having a bus ride and an experience of exploring the place through a roaming window is a “big apple” bliss that everyone should experience.
Yesterday, I was able to attend the Sony Digital Workshop at the 4th Floor of Wisma. I think I was five minutes late coz I had a hard time looking for the venue. I seated on the back of the room while the instructor was introducing himself. I wasn’t able to remember though his name.
On the invitation, the workshop would last for 2.5 hours but it wrapped up almost 3 hours after. The instructor tackled about the features of our Sony cameras and taught us some techniques to do some artsy stuffs. I was also able to learn some terminology about cameras too.
Here are some of the things that I have learned that can be useful to you: 1. Half-press the shutter release button to focus on to something. 2. Half-pressing also returns the camera into shoot mode. 3. To capture objects with high speed, use a higher ISO. This is useful for a car race scenario. 4. To freeze a moving object, use a lower ISO. This can be used on fireworks, fountains, etc. 5. Use the Smile shutter feature of the Sony camera for kids. 6. To add effects on the pictures, use spot on the Metering Mode. 7. Do not be scared of using the flash. Sony automatically adjusts the brightness. 8. When capturing moving objects better use a tripod and the self-timer.
I honestly learned a lot of things from the workshop. I hope to learn more during the process of my photo shoots.Continue reading this article...
This is the interview which was featured on the 22nd of March issue of The New Paper on Sunday.
HE HAS an ordinary day job as a surveyor in a bunkering firm, but he also leads a secret life as an amateur pornographer.
And Gary Ng, 29, is fast gaining online notoriety after his self-filmed sex videos - posted on various amateur porn sites and sex forums - caused an uproar among local netizens.
The 33 videos, which have since been removed from those sites, featured him having sex with several women who, he claims, are from all walks of life.
The New Paper on Sunday managed to get in touch with Mr Ng through his e-mail address, which he displays on his videos. In an online interview, he said he had removed the videos from the porn sites, but had later posted them on another website for his 'fans'.
Most of the videos begin with him in office wear before he undresses.
The video titles are telling - 'Gary Ng vs Beer Promo Auntie', 'Gary Ng vs Friend's Niece' and 'Gary Ng vs Chua Chu Kang girl' - just to name a few.
He even claimed to have had sex with a mother and her daughter on two different occasions. His other conquests range from waitresses and housewives to tertiary students and bank executives, he said.
When asked if Gary Ng is his real name, he said it is. Click to see larger image
To attract netizens to view his videos, he also posted links on sex forums, where he has been given the dubious honour of being called Singapore's Edison Chen.
Edison, a Chinese-Canadian actor, was embroiled in a high-profile sex scandal after pictures of him having sex with several Hong Kong starlets were leaked online last year, after he sent a computer for repairs.
The comparison is not very apt, though. Edison did not intend to make the pictures public, but got himself and the women involved in a lot of trouble because they could all be easily identified.
Mr Ng, on the other hand, has put the videos online himself, but he has protected the women involved by keeping out their faces, as well as his own.
Although making or reproducing obscene films is a criminal offence (see box at right), Mr Ng apparently had no qualms about doing this over a period of time.
He started posting his sex videos online last September.
His reason for doing so, it seems, was to get back at women after he was cheated in previous relationships.
He said he was disillusioned after three consecutive failed relationships. Each of his girlfriends had cheated on him, he claimed.
His first girlfriend of three years - whom he met when he was just 15 - slept with somebody else behind his back, he said. His second girlfriend of six years did the same.
The final straw was when he was sent a video of his third girlfriend, a Thai national, having sex with somebody else.
He recalled: 'She was having a fling in Bangkok. They filmed sex videos and the guy posted them online to share with others.
'He sent me the link through the social network hi5.com. When I saw the video of my girlfriend and him, I totally turned numb towards life and relationships.
'We broke off in the end.'
Mr Ng said he sought solace in nights of endless partying and revelry.
He recalled: 'After all this, I was tortured mentally, asking why God had done this to me.
'My life was clubbing and drinking every day till the wee hours of the morning, and sleeping till the late afternoon before beginning another long night with my buddies.'
While partying, Mr Ng said he got to know women at various clubs, including Dragonfly, St James Power Station and Arena.
And he had sex with them on numerous occasions.
In the space of about a year, he claimed to have chalked up more than 50 sex partners - including polytechnic students, undergraduates and high-flying executives.
The women, he said, were attracted to him because he 'grooms himself well' and drives a 'nice car' - a Nissan GTR.
He started filming his sex trysts - taken mostly at home or at hotels - for his own viewing pleasure, and later decided to post them online on a whim.
He said: 'The response to the videos was shocking great. I kept receiving e-mails commenting on my videos and skills.
'Of course, I protect my partners by not showing their faces in the videos.'
He added that somehow filming himself having sex with random women served as an outlet for the frustration he had experienced in his previous relationships.
He added that his partying escalated and caused him to 'lose focus at work'.
But he was thrilled by the online attention his videos were getting, and continued posting them on amateur porn sites, and exchanging them with netizens who had added him to their MSN Messenger contact lists.
He now has more than 1,000 contacts, most of whom had got in touch with him after viewing his sex videos.
'Some are guys who ask me to introduce girls to them, and who exchange their own home-made sex videos for mine.
'Some ask me sex-related questions, like how to please a woman.'
He added that he also gets propositions from women he chats with online.
But he is not without his detractors.
Some netizens have said online that MrNg may be lying about his conquests and had paid prostitutes to be his video subjects.
When asked, Mr Ng said simply: 'I don't bother about these people. Perhaps they are jealous.'
He is also unabashed about approaching women for sex.
He said: 'Once, I was having dinner at a coffee shop near home and a woman tried to sell me a bottle of beer. She said it was her last bottle and that she could go home after selling it.'
He ended up chatting with the woman, who was in her 40s.
'She told me she was a divorcee,' he recalled.
He offered her a ride home but they ended up going to a hotel for sex. He secretly filmed the tryst and later posted it online.
Mr Ng said most of the women in his videos allowed him to film them during sex. But he admitted to secretly filming some women whom he had 'failed to convince'.
His tool of choice: a video camera.
Mr Ng said his family does not know about his online activities, and that he has told only a few 'close buddies' about his secret life.
On whether he fears being recognised, Mr Ng said: 'I always edit away my face and the faces of my girls, so as to protect them and myself.
'Even if I am exchanging videos with others, I still maintain my stand of taking away those face parts.'
He says this is to avoid jeopardising his partners' lives and careers.
'As some of these girls are either from polytechnics or local universities, I do not want to expose them.
'I care about their future too - many are also high-fliers in banking (and are of) executive level. I do not want to spoil their lives.'Continue reading this article...
Celebrities are well-known from their movies and TV series. And there are also the negatives that they are also well-known, from DUIs, assault incident, drug abuse and so on. Also, some celebrities made a statement by posing naked or topless in magazines. Here are some of the well-known celebrities (some are NSFW):
Minutes ago, I went outside to check if my neighbors participated in Earth Hour. Sadly, my own housemates aren't participating and they are having a party nice since my other housemate just returned from his business trip. Anyway, here are the pictures and video from my neighborhood.
I think it is not that successful in my block. Sigh. I heard that in the Philippines, there is a total black out for one hour since there people will not participate. I think that is a smart move.Continue reading this article...
Michael was booted out this Motown week, thank God. I am hoping that Megan will be the next to go. Speaking of American Idol, here are some of the baby pictures of the Top 9 finalist of American Idol 2009. You cannot deny the picture of Anoop. It is indeed him. Haha.
In support to the Earth Hour 2009 which will happen tomorrow at 8:30 P.M., I am going black. This initiative will save energy consumption for those who use CRT (cathode-ray tubes) monitors. I'm not sure though if LCD monitors save energy when displays a predominant black color. That is still being studied.
I am calling all bloggers to follow the initiative which Google started. Let's all turn black for Earth Hour 2009.
The Certified Pinoy Blogger is supporting Earth Hour 2009. I will be posting my Earth Hour 2009 contribution tomorrow. Please watch this video and don't forget to switch of your lights this Saturday at 8:30 P.M. for one hour.

Since last week, it has been very stressful at work. I have been helping out our team in the reorganization that will happen soon. Since according to them I'm a genius in Excel and VBA programming, I was tasked to do some macros to make their work easier. Today was very stressful and I have this terrible back pain. I think it has to do with the stress. When I got home, I just applied the pain reliever ointment my doctor prescribed before. Yesterday, I thought of buying Salonpas but my frugal instincts won. Luckily, my back now is not that painful and it is somehow relaxed. I just hope tomorrow, it won't be stressful. Tomorrow by the way is my deadline. Wish me luck!
Anyway, on my previous post I asked whether I should create a new photo blog or just post it in my existing blogs. I have then decided to just create a new one. So far, it is still a blank page and I am still looking for a nice Photo blog template. Any suggested template? Any idea where I can have a watermark for my photos? My Photo Blog title by the way is "Makoy Snapshots" and you can check it out at http://snapshots.makoyskie.com. I should have thought of creating this blog before my blog contest. Good bye free back links. Darn!

Last Sunday after the afternoon mass, I started taking some pictures in St. Mary of the Angels Church. I really enjoyed taking the pictures since it's fast and very clear. It's just annoying that it's very hot outside the church. I'm still thinking of posting it here or my other personal blog in blogspot. How about in a new Photo blog. What do you think?
Anyway, I would like to share that I really enjoyed the afternoon mass last Sunday. I usually get sleepy every 5:30 P.M. mass but now I was wide awake. I also enjoyed the all Filipino choir in St. Mary of the Angels. It felt good hearing Filipino singing voices. I even have goose bumps, would you believe that. It would be nicer if the mass is in Tagalog. I think they only have it in Novena Church. After taking some pictures in St. Mary of the Angels, I went to the park near the church. I was able to capture statues of the animal zodiac. I would post that in the coming days. After that, I went to the CCK Park. It was a very hot afternoon so I bought first a cold bottled water so I won't be dehydrated. I enjoyed the park and I have many pictures in my camera. My favorite are the close up pictures of the flowers in the park. Too bad, most in the park are trees.Continue reading this article...
I was supposed to go swimming today as well as do my first photo session in the CCK Park. Sadly, it was raining today. I have then decided to just go early in the church tomorrow morning then go straight the CCK Park after lunch. I just hope it won't rain and I would be able to wake up early tomorrow.
What I will do instead to be productive is to watch tons of TV series and to promote my blogs to advertisers. I just hope blogs will buy some ads from me. I am also doing now my new 125x125 blog ads. And I'm adding animation to it. Will do some post in my making money blog on how to make a simple animation, maybe tomorrow. Anyway, the winners of my Big Mak Blog Contest has finally been revealed. It's just make me sad that there are 47 contestants that did not win any prize. I'm glad though that my tabulating of scores has ended. Congratulations again to all winners! American Idol night again and I am very impressed that many contestants of AI chose Carrie Underwood songs. This week by the way is Country Song Week with Ryan Travis as the contestant's mentor. Carrie Underwood is my favorite American Idol and I honestly have her two albums. After watching American Idol, I went to YouTube and searched for Carrie Underwood's song "So Small." That song by the way was the song choice of Matt Giraud.
Here is the video of Carrie Underwood singing "So Small." Her performance sounded like the record itself. Her voice is really amazing!
Last Sunday, I registered my Sony W170 to the Sony Singapore website for the warranty and also for the membership. Just this morning, I received an email from them telling me that I can now log in to my Sony account. They are also inviting me to register to their free Sony Digital Workshop. The 2.5 hours of workshop will teach newbies on how to use the Cybershot functions and also some shooting and editing techniques. They will also share some tips on how to take care of our Sony cameras.
I have signed up this morning and I was scheduled for the March 29 workshop. That I am very excited about. This is my first digital camera and I am honestly ignorant on how to use some functions. I am very eager to learn the shooting and editing techniques. I have to learn fast since I plan to travel this year. And have I mentioned that my Sony W170 Cybershot camera comes with an underwater casing? I would love to try some underwater shots with the marine species. Cool huh! I still haven't tried using the camera. I would try it out this weekend. Maybe in the park and also in the pool. Can't wait!Continue reading this article...

Yesterday, I finally went to the IT show and bought my new Sony W170 digital camera. Whew! There is a huge turnout in the IT show and I am thankful that event was over. I even have a comedic experience before I went to Suntec City. When I was on my way to the MRT I have realized that I forgot to put on my deodorant. I already walked many footsteps and I don't want to go back home. Anyway when I reached City Hall MRT, I dropped by Guardian and bought a roll-on. At least, I was smelling good the whole time I was in Suntec City. Hahaha.
At the entrance of Suntec City, I saw this guy painted in silver and was standing still with a laptop. He's really great in what he's doing. By the way, I saw that same guy in Orchard before with the same outfit and body paint. At the entrance near Starbucks coffee, it looked like a traffic jam. Since I cannot squeeze in to that, I went to the other entrance. On my way to the 2nd level, I was surprised that people are restricted to use the elevator. Apparently, there is huge turnout and they controlling the number of people getting inside. There is even an announcement for people to just come back after an hour. Would even people back after one hour? It took me an hour of traffic to get there and I need to come back? Anyway, minutes later people are already getting up the escalator. I went first to the Sony station at the 2nd level. I asked for the Sony W170 and was shocked that there is no stock anymore. My face literally went from 10 excitement to 10 sadness. Since there is another Sony station at the 4th level, I went there immediately and asked if they still have a stock of Sony W170. My "A" game is back when the lady said yes. I asked her to demo the camera and to explain the features. After her demo, I asked for the freebies and the available colors. To those who are interested to know, my Sony W170 has 10.1 megapixels and has 5x optical zoom. The camera by the way cost S$369 or P11,300. That includes two 4GB memory, two batteries, underwater case, screen protector, case, charger, lens and camera cleaner, tripod and AV jack. Isn't that great?
Anyway, since many have requested for some pictures in the IT show, I went to check out the other products and took some pictures (from my mobile camera). Will post the pictures tomorrow. There are really good buys especially the laptops. I was too tired by the way so I wasn't able to check the price of a laptop memory.
