Anyway, one problem that I am facing with my iPhone is the noticeably fast draining of battery. Most of the time, I only listen to the iPod and browse the web. After Lea's concert, my friend helped me configured my iPhone's email to maximize its battery. Here's what you need to do, go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars then select Fetch New Data. Change the setting to Hourly and turn the Push to Off. Limiting to just hourly fetching will lessen your iPhone's processing thus saving energy.
Anyway, this morning I read an article from Apple on how to Maximize your iPhone's battery. Here are some of their tips:
1. Turn off the Notifications (Settings-Notifications).
2. Turn on Wifi only when needed.
3. Change the Brightness of your iPhone.
4. Always lock your phone.
5. Always check for the latest update of your iPhone.
6. Once a month, drain your iPhone's battery then charge.

Hey Makky! Congratz with your new iphone. Like me, you must be one of those obsessed guys who gets so attached to their iphones initially, then gradually come back to their senses. LOL!! Is it some form of a Christmas gift for yourself? I got mine exactly one year ago when iphone just came out. Looking forward to upgrading to 3GS.
Thanks Lee! Merry christmas and let me know if u bought the 3gs.
I've had my iphone since they first came out, and like you, the battery drains quickly.
One thing to watch is where you charge it. Remember if the computer goes to sleep and you have it plugged in to the USB, and that port goes to sleep as well, it won't charge. It's always best to use an electrical outlet.
Also, rebooting it every day or so really helps. Sometimes it will keep searching for new email, and searching, and searching and searching......
