Mediacorp’s Project Hope Collected S$1.3 Million in Donations

Mediacorp’s Project Hope Collected S$1.3 Million in DonationsLast Monday, the biggest media network in Singapore put up a live show titled “Project Hope” to collect donations for the recent typhoon and earthquake victims in South East Asia.

More than 100 Mediacorp artists participated Project Hope which ran two hours. Some performed and some helped answered the phones for donations. Project Hope collected a total amount of S$1.3 million or 43.63 million pesos.

Donations are still accepted until October 26. You can donate by calling the following numbers with the corresponding amount:

1900—112—5010: S$10 donation
1900—112—5020: S$20 donation
1900—112—5050: S$50 donation

Cheque donations can be made to "MediaCorp Charity Fund" with "Project Hope" written on the back of the cheque. All donations will be used by Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and Mercy Relief.

The encore telecast of Project Hope will air on October 25 at Suria (11 A.M. to 1 P.M.) and Channel 5 (4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.)
