Jacque Bermejo To Hell?
Over the weekend, some parts of the Philippines were submerged in raging floods. I was in deep pain watching the videos in Facebook especially the video of a family swept in the river. That was very heartbreaking.

Yesterday, I have finally called my mom to check on them. Thank God, they were all okay. The flood water reached our home above knee deep and our beds were submerged. I am thankful that our neighbors in Paranaque helped my mom and dad. I felt so guilty that I’m not there to help. My youngest sister though was stranded at work and was asleep the whole day yesterday. She was on duty 24 hours in the clinic.

Yesterday also in Facebook, a new personality rose to fame. A Filipina that is currently based in Dubai made a comment about the incident in the Philippines. She remarked in her exact words, “buti n lng am hir in dubai! Maybe so many sinners bak der! So yeah deserving wat hapend!” (I am so lucky, I am in Dubai. Maybe there are many sinners in the Philippines that they deserved the tragedy)

Those words really ticked me off and the majority of the Filipinos that are in Facebook. I am disgusted with her that I made a comment that she should rot in hell. After a while, I felt guilty of my remarks. I shouldn’t make a comment like that. That makes me just like her. Instead of wasting our energy and time to Jacque, we can focus our attention in helping our fellow Filipinos.

a colleague of mine in Dubai who is friends with Jacque says that Jacque's account was hacked. Lets give her the benefit of the doubt.

I have read the comments in her multiply site and parang chatroom! The hate messages just keeps on coming!

I agree that we should also help the victims but if ever comments like these were ever true, we should not let them pass. If we don't give her a reality check, how will she learn to be sensitive to others?T The suffering is real. She needs to be put in her right place. I suffered through the storm and the effects of the flood myself. I absolutely loathe her, but in light of my friend's comments, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Just my take on things.
