Pinakbet ala Makoy RecipeYey, finally I have cooked my first ever Pinakbet recipe. Thanks to the help of Ate Marj and Ate Lorena for the ingredients and instructions.

If you want to try my Pinakbet version, you need to have these ingredients:

* tomatoes, onion and garlic
* cubed pork
* long beans (sitaw)
* squash
* eggplant
* okra
* bitter gourd/melon (ampalaya)
* shrimp paste (bagoong)

How to cook:
1. Fry the cubed pork (and left over meat) and set aside until golden brown.
2. On the same pan, sautee the garlic, onion and tomatoes.
3. Add water then place some bagoong (4 spoonful) then wait to boil.
4. Add the squash and bitter gourd until half cooked.
5. Place the remaining vegetables then wait until the vegetables are cooked.

Better served with hot rice.

What's my next cooking project? Calamares! yum yum!
