To Minoxidil Or Not To Minoxidil

To Minoxidil Or Not To MinoxidilYesterday, I wore my new longsleeves that I bought in the Philippines. I like it a lot coz of the great fit and its simple design. I forgot though to take a picture of myself with that longsleeves. Anyway, even I wearing a good looking longsleeves, I felt ugly yesterday. I noticed again my receding hair and it doesn't look great.

That day made me think again of the hair transplant and the topical medicine Minoxidil. Yesterday, I also browsed the my email communication with Dr. Pineda, Dr. Belo and NuHart. It is really quite expensive. I am now thinking of buying Minoxidil online and try if it will work for me.

After work yesterday, I went to the 10-min barbershop here and had my hair cut. I felt good after that somehow my ugly face looked better with my haircut.

Here by the way are the known side effects of Minoxidil according to Wikipedia:
- acne on the area where it is being used as a topical solution
_ headaches and/or lightheadedness
- very low blood pressure
- irregular or fast heart beat
- blurred vision or other vision problems
- numbness or tingling in the hands, feet or face
- decreased sexual desire
- partial, or complete, impotence
- chest pain

Scary huh! And for some it doesn't work. Hair Transplant though is still the best option. What do you think? To Minoxidil or to Hair Transplant?

Purchase online your Minoxidil from the link below.

no, self medication has never been good and safe.

its always better to consult professionals

i agree with Denis, and Minoxidil has side effects that like dizziness and low blood pressure.

instead of going against it, why not embrace it and go skinhead ;-)

Hey makoy!

I'm not sure if you could still remember the product I shared to you.

Check the details here http://nuskin.com/corp/product/customized/galvanic2_system.shtml

The galvanic spa looks like a size of an ipod that works in 3 ways. Initially, I actually use the machine for prevention of wrinkles only. It is actually called the wrinkle iron. Until I discovered that I'm experiencing hair loss already and I started to utilize it to prevent hair loss as well. This is hottest gadget to be released in the US and Europe.

This is one of the sample results after using the machine for 2 months:

I just realize this machine will save you a lot of pesos in the long run. Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman are among the celebrities who use this product.

Maybe this video can help you too

I researched about hair transplant before and it's kind of 10,000 per square inch? I just dunno if that is really the rate and what is the quality of service ,, Id love to read something you search about hair transplant here.

Although I must agree with Denis, at some minor cases of any ailment, self medication helps.

What shydub has noted is correct but for me, i still wanna see my man with his hair intact... well, it's good to have something to pull... now I must laugh alone at my way of thinking. ^^

The responses are actually very interesting Makoy. As I have a very thick hair and am a female, I really cannot relate but it's fun to see here what and how people react.

What do you mean Pehpot? The transplanted hair will eventually fall down too? Hmmmm.. never heard of this... It still feel and looks great to have full hair.

If it has strong and really scary side effects, I don't think it would be sold in pharmacies without prescriptions..

That thing noted by Sherry is really a call for those who have plans to use this medical alternative to be really careful.

Minoxidil can age the skin and cause dark circles under the eyes and wrinkles. You have been warned!

I'm using Minoxidil, and it is great. Of course, I haven't been balding that long so it is working well for me. I've been doing my own Minoxidil study right now because I am strongly against having a hair transplant when I'm older. It's just so...unnatural.

actually... Minoxidil is a anti-hypertensive drug used to lower blood pressure. HIRSUTISM is its side effect... therefore, it is used topically to grow hairs. All the other side-effects mentioned here, will only be experienced when you actually use minoxidil orally as an anti-hypertensive.
