Heavily Drugged

Heavily DruggedYesterday, I have decided to buy some cough medicine or go directly to the Doctor. When I checked the clinic, it was actually closed. During weekends by the way they only operate half day. That day by the way, I was feeling okay. I didn't cough hard and my throat didn't ached that much. But last night and this morning, my troublesome cough returned with a vengeance. It was really painful to my throat and to my chest. I don't know though if I woke my roommates with my dry cough.

I have decided then to go directly to the clinic when I woke up this morning. I first checked the pharmacy, which I suddenly remembered that we have one here. The cough syrup was too expensive, more than S$10 so I went to the clinic so I can just pay 20% including the doctor's consultation fee. When I went to the clinic, my queue number was 28. I haven't had breakfast then so I went to the near bakery and bought a chicken with mushroom cheese and a peach fruit juice. I had it while I strolled the nearby market. I went back to the clinic and the queue was number 23.

It was a different doctor by the way and I noticed that the consultation with other patients was quite fast unlike the usual doctor that I go to (which is a good thing). When it was my time, he went to check me and wrote many medicines on the index card. When it's time to claim my medicines, I was surprised to be prescribed with 5 medicines including antibiotics, cough syrup and lozenges.

Before I had my lunch, I had the medicine first. One hour after, it felt like I'm going coma with too much medicine. I was so sleepy that I have decided to take a bath after.

The doctor by the way told me to rest the whole day until tomorrow and I cannot speak. Isn't that weird for just a cough?

That might be very dangerous thing or it could be you've worked so much lately? I remembered a severe cough that lasted me for a month and no medicine taken could stop... only later that one of my veins, around the rib area was kicked hard during a karate training and when i had it massaged, the cough stopped in one moment... Try to see if you have some pains externally, a massage might help just like in my case. ^^ 10th point for WebbieLady in Big Mak while the 12th point is HERE, posting the logo/badge of the BigMak contest.

Hi! Have you recovered?

A lot of anti-biotics not only kills germs, they weaken your red and white blood cells. That is why you are still weak after the medicine.

The very same ingredients they removed from children's meds are still inside adults' medicine. Beware of what you put into your body!

A girl recently died after chugging 4 'red bulls' and went dancing. She had NO COUGH!

I am having flu but I am not willing to eat medicine as it makes me sleepy. I will take care of my health and I drink plenty of water.
