Happy All Saints Day

Posted on Saturday, November 1, 2008

Happy All Saints Day SingaporeThis is my first All Saints Day here in Singapore and it was quite odd that people here aren't visiting cemeteries and lighting candles and paying respects to their parted loved ones. In celebration of the All Saints Day, I have lighted two candles for my departed grandparents.

Anyway, this afternoon, I have decided to have a walk. I was quite bored on my my usual routine of watching TV series, dropping Entrecards and making blog posts. I have decided to visit Sheng Shong, which is one LRT ride away from our place. My roommate told me that it is walking distance. Since, I want to have some excercise, I gambled by walking.

Too bad, it was a long walk and I did not found Sheng Shong. I reached Choa Chu Kang MRT instead. I was tired that I have decided to go home after strolling the mall near the MRT. When I reached home, I went to take a nap since my legs were tired and I wasn't feeling well. So much for a long time.

Its really fascinating how some Filipinos mistakenly take nov. 1 as the araw ng mga patay when its really nov.2
